Cancellation & Refund Policy
1. Overview
At Puri Tourism, we understand that plans may change. Our cancellation and refund policy is designed to be fair and transparent for both parties. By booking with us, you agree to the following terms:
2. Cancellation by the Customer
- Up to 15 Days Before Travel: Full refund of the booking amount, minus any non-refundable charges (such as transaction fees or hotel pre-booking costs).
- 7–14 Days Before Travel: 50% of the total booking amount will be refunded.
- Less Than 7 Days Before Travel: No refund will be issued.
- Same-Day or No-Show: No refund will be processed for cancellations made on the travel date or no-shows.
3. Cancellation Process
To cancel your booking, you must send an email to puritourismodisha@gmail.com from the same email address used for the booking. Please include:
- Your full name
- Booking ID or reference number
- Reason for cancellation
We will confirm the cancellation via email and process eligible refunds within 7–10 business days.
4. Refund Mode
Refunds will be credited back to the original mode of payment. In cases where this is not possible, a bank transfer may be arranged upon confirmation from both sides.
5. Non-Refundable Charges
The following charges are non-refundable, regardless of when the cancellation is made:
- Booking convenience fees or payment gateway charges
- Advance hotel or third-party bookings made on your behalf
- Customized services already availed (e.g., cab bookings, guide services, etc.)
6. Changes & Modifications
If you need to modify your travel date or package, we will try our best to accommodate the request, subject to availability and service partner policies. Change requests must be made at least 7 days prior to the original travel date.
7. Cancellation by Puri Tourism
In rare cases, Puri Tourism may need to cancel your tour due to unforeseen circumstances like natural disasters, strikes, political unrest, or insufficient bookings. In such cases:
- You will receive a full refund of all payments made.
- No additional compensation will be provided for travel arrangements not booked through us.
8. Force Majeure
Events beyond our control (force majeure) such as pandemics, floods, political instability, or government restrictions are not eligible for compensation. Refunds will depend on third-party service providers’ policies in such situations.
